Eat Healthy Food and Exercise to Lose Stomach Fat!

Some studies about abdominal fat have found that there is a direct link between it and increased levels of chronic inflammatory markers. Thus confirming the assumption of researchers, namely that adipose tissue is not an inert mass, but an “organ” (notice the quotes!) that produces a range of substances such as cytokines. If you want to lose stomach fat you have to lose fat all over your body because it will behave as a whole.

Although traditionally it is stated that the best way to remove excess fat is aerobic exercises, there are several studies that show that a workout on elliptical exercise equipment confers an increased level of efficiency. It seems that aerobic exercises are a great way to get a flat stomach. We present the results of a study made at the University of Berlin. The study was performed on a group of 30 obese women, this group was divided into 3 groups of 10 persons: a control group, a group that performed aerobic exercises and the other performed power exercises and aerobic. Aerobic exercise group performed cardiovascular exercises (60-70% of maximum heart rate) for 6 days a week. Combined exercise group did strength exercises 3 days and 3 days other aerobic exercises regime.

Measurements have found that the group that did only aerobic removed an average volume of 23 cm3 of subcutaneous fat and 83 cm3 visceral fat, while the combined exercise group removed 62 cm3 of subcutaneous fat and 93 cm3 of visceral fat. We notice the superiority of a program based on the combination of the two types of exercise.

In conclusion, if you want to get rid of excess abdominal fat (adipose tissue but it is valid for the whole body) faster and more efficiently adopt a program of combined training, aerobic exercise sessions alternating with weight training sessions.

Okay, so if this excess fat puts health problems, then there must be a way to rid us of it…
