Whoever said babies don’t like to play in swimming pools doesn’t know what they’re talking about. I have seen thousands of babies who absolutely loved the water.

Of course, you have to make sure they’re protected somehow, but I think the water really brings them back to being in the womb. But you know what they love even more than that? That’s right: baby pool toys. They don’t like normal pool toys, but ones designed specifically for babies? That is right up their alley! You haven’t seen a little toddler smile until you’ve seen them bat their hands at a floating Oscar the Grouch. It’s totally hilarious.

I’m telling you, they are just mystified by the way these things bob around on the surface of the swimming pool. It doesn’t take much to entertain babies.
